It has been the farthest thing from a smooth road. My most memorable moment was working on my debut album during my senior year of high school. In the midst of recording it, we had a house fire...

Where does your self-discipline come from?: I grew up in a disciplined household. My parents were clear in their expectations of me but they also never forced me to do any activities I didn’t want to do. However, once I made a commitment to something they made sure to hold me accountable for seeing it through until the end. That mindset of honoring my commitments followed me into adulthood and is a key part in how create music and run the business...

"I’m a music artist, producer, and audio engineer. I have been working in music for 15 years. But outside of my business, I’m a teacher and an all-around nerd. 1033 Records was named after my childhood home and is even operated out of the home my grandparents left my mom."

Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: My name is Cameron London. I’m an artist & engineer from Hampstead, North Carolina. I started making music at 13 and over the years I’ve founded my own label, 1033 Records. I love to create music of all kinds but my specialty is Hip-Hop. Outside of music, I’m an educator and the author of the “Kyren” series. The thing that connects my music and other ventures is charity. I love to give back to the community regardless of what form that takes. In 2018, with the help of my mom, I founded the “Bell-Jones Foundation”. A charity that focuses on aiding community youth...
